Frequently Asked Questions:
Will your office take my insurance?
Our office will submit your claims to your insurance company and assist you in any way we can with any questions you may have about your dental coverage. In most cases insurance companies pay our office directly so the patient is only responsible for any differences that aren’t fully covered, if any.
Do you see children?
Absolutely. We cater to patients of all ages.
What services are available at your office?
We offer an incredibly wide variety of treatment options including teeth and denture cleaning, bleaching, fillings, and cosmetic treatment, root canals, extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth), crowns, bridges and implants, bone grafting, new dentures as well as repairs and additions to dentures.
Do you take emergencies and walk-ins?
We strive to accommodate patients in need (usually same day) and recommend that you call ahead so that we can prepare for your appointment.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking designated for our office.
Can I get an evening appointment?
We offer flexibility in our schedule by providing you with the convenience of morning, afternoon and evening appointments as well as Saturdays.
Do you offer sleeping dentistry?
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation are both available, and we are happy to discuss other ways to make your appointment as comfortable as possible.
Do root canals hurt?
This is a common worry. It seems everyone knows someone who has a horror story about having had a root canal! Don't be mislead! We routinely provide root canal treatment for patients and we can assure you that during the procedure you are VERY WELL FROZEN. Our experience has always been that patients are very happy with how painless the procedure is.
Do I need to be put under to have my wisdom teeth out?
Absolutely not. We routinely take out impacted wisdom teeth with freezing only. Our patients are well frozen and do not feel pain throughout the procedure.
What are implants?
An implant is used to replace a missing tooth. It looks and functions just like a natural tooth. Implant surgery to replace a missing tooth is often very straightforward and causes minimal discomfort and healing is very rapid.
Implants are the most successful treatment available in dentistry today and provide a permanent solution for replacement of a missing tooth or teeth. In appropriate cases the benefits of implant treatment are far reaching. Beyond looking and functioning just like a natural tooth, implants maintain the bone around them that would otherwise be lost in the absence of a tooth.
Does your office do implants?
Yes. We review and carefully evaluate each patients needs, desires, and overall oral health and when appropriate our office will provide implant treatment from start to finish.
